7 · Enter bootloader & flash

Once the .uf2 file has downloaded, put your badge into bootloader mode and copy the file onto it.

  1. Double-click the RST button on your badge.
  2. A new removable drive named NICENANO will appear on your laptop, phone or tablet.
    (Note: on Android, some file explorers may not detect this new media disk.)
  3. Copy the downloaded .uf2 file onto that drive. The badge will reboot automatically with your new firmware.

The firmware is compiled remotely. A .uf2 file will download automatically.
